Participants of the EU Learning Lab were members of the EU Lab and representatives of the international public procurement of innovation, people who are involved in the lead market initiative of DG Enterprise. An international mix of 75 procurement officers, policy advisors and project managers came to the RAI congress center in Amsterdam. During the two days of this meeting participants were actively engaged in workshops, addressing procurement topics such as dynamic traffic management, and discussing good practices in for example the cleaning and renovating of hospitals.
Following the EU Learning Lab meeting participants were encouraged to attend the International Supply Chain Management Congress (15-16 December) at the same location. PIANOo and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation (ELI) sponsored this event. On Thursday morning participants could visit the PIANOo/ELI stand where the results of the Dutch precommercial procurement program SBIR were presented.
