Tools SPP
There are several tools that you can use when applying sustainable procurement (SPP). Examples are the MVI-criteriatool (environmental criteria for SPP), de MVI-zelfevaluatietool (self-assessment tool) and the Wegwijzer MVOI (with information and tools). There are also various guidelines, best practices and studies available.

MVI-criteriatool
The MVI-criteriatool is reviewed regularly to keep it up to date. During this process the criteria are tested on the accuracy and where needed adjustments are made accordingly. The tool is also available in English. Where possible, maximum use has been made of the European Green Public Procurement criteria (GPP). This ensures more consistency in criteria so that the effect of the application increases.

MVI-zelfevaluatietool
Are you a contracting authority and want to know how sustainable your organization's procurement policy is? The MVI-zelfevaluatietool provides insight into how your tenders score in terms of SPP.
Wegwijzer MVOI
In the Wegwijzer MVOI, you will find information on SPP themes of circularity and social return, specifically for public buyers or contract managers. The SRCP Guide also includes tools for applying these themes in the tendering or contract phase.
Buyer groups for sustainability
In the Netherlands, contracting authorities in the public and private sector that wish to incorporate climate impact, circularity and social goals into their procurements can join a buyer group. In a buyer group, they work together to develop a shared market vision and strategy for a specific product category.
